The Dragon Buster series began with an arcade classic known as Dragon Buster in 1985, followed by Dragon Buster II in 1989 and Dragon Valor in 1999. All games of the series are Action RPGs, which largely revolves around a dragon slayer called Clovis. In Dragon Buster, he must rescue Princess Celia from a dragon. The 1989 NES sequel Dragon Buster II revolves around bow & Arrow wielding protagonist Carl, who must retrieve the sword used by Clovis.
